Trucks covered on Austrian road buried in 13ft of snow

Anthony Gibbon, from Wales, recorded the lorry in the ski resort of Ischgl in western Austria on Monday. In the short clip a lorry can be seen driving through the deep snow to make a pathway. Mr Gibbon said he and his family had to wait two hours for the road to be cleared fully but that his two children ’were laughing and enjoying the snow.’ Local media have reported that the extreme weather conditions have affected locals and tourists in the area with up to 17,000 people cut off from the outside world.
