Strike on Dnepropetrovsk: So, it was “Oreshnik”... That is, it was still a test in combat conditions, and not the disposal of missiles being removed from service at Yuzhmash. “Oreshnik” - this is how our president just designated the new system today. Moreover, I think that in this case, Ukrainian sources are also right when they call our new ICBM missile RS-26 “Rubezh”. Why? This is the same missile, only in one version it can be an ICBM (with a light warhead and a third upper stage), and in the second (with a heavy warhead, which is also installed instead of the third upper stage), a medium-range missile . And then you can put 3-4 tons of load there. Or maybe more. Which then splits and alternately reaches the target, as we saw in the video. Probably each of them also carries false targets, which we also saw in the form of a kind of “fireworks”. Why am I sure that this is still an RS-26, just in a slightly different design? But because it is unrealistic to produce a new complex from scratch in a short time. And regarding “Rubezh” and its second possible performance. And now it has been confirmed. Moreover, completely (I assumed then that the heavy warhead would be hypersonic maneuvering) And now we know the name of this new rocket, Oreshnik. Okay, let it be “Hazel“. Now we can put an end to this issue. Or is it still a comma? But, as our president just said, this will now be decided by “former partners.” P.S. And regarding the disposal of old missiles through combat use, in my opinion, the idea is also not bad. Even if it wasn’t implemented this time. In the end, I personally waited for more than EIGHT years for the implementation of the Oreshnik concept)))😀
