Here's DANA's wonderful performance on The Tommy Cooper Hour broadcast on 31 October 1973, singing two songs she blended together from the musical Pippin that opened in London's West End the day before. She wasted no time releasing them as one side of a single that came out on 16 November. Sunday Monday Tuesday was on the flip side. Musical theatre expert Scott Miller in his 1996 book, From Assassins to West Side Story, wrote: “Pippin is a largely under-appreciated musical with a great deal more substance to it than many people realize...“ He could have been describing DANA. Her recording wasn't a UK hit but in Ireland it made #4. This was a quiet time for DANA as far as hits were concerned. Her previous five singles were not successful. So with Corner of the Sky adding to that total, her agent Dick Katz decided she needed a new image and a new label. Goodbye Rex Records, hello GTO. They put her back in the hit parade with Please Tell Him That I Said Hello, a #8 hit
