Marco Shuttle Dj set @ Mostra Festival / / Lights: FTFS & Sonolum Recorded at Castle of Montjüic Berlin-based but born in Treviso, Italy, Marco Shuttle has been involved in the underground club scene since he was 15, as a promoter and later as a DJ. Characteristically, Marco's productions are deep, abstract, atmospheric, and often his cinematic techno sounds are unusually organic: they subtly build pressure, and his meticulous grooves never fail to take listeners on a trip to somewhere new and exciting. What’s done with the heart conveys passion, purity, honesty, determination. A heart that beats is a heart that’s alive and is synonymous with life. It pulses to a rhythm, similar to the BPM at which music is played. Mostra is a project that comes straight from the heart. An independent, small-format festival of avant-garde and experimental electronic music which emerges as a counterpoint to the macro-festivals and the overcrowded, commercial and rather impersonal offerings of other large events held in Barcelona. Mostra is a festival consciously linking ourselves to the socio-cultural background and artistic fabric of the city. The Mostra project was conceived during the period of our harshest confinement from Covid-19, a time full of uncertainties in which culture came to a complete standstill. We wanted to celebrate life again with a new cultural proposal for Barcelona which included an electronic music festival and many more complementary activities throughout the year. SubRadio was born with the aim of generating a reference space for the local scene, promoting its intelligent consumption and giving visibility to the largest possible part of its component parts: DJs, producers, VJs, venues, graphic artists, events, groups or labels among many other possible ones, always in search of sincere and passionate projects, which today also come from different parts of the map, making the exchange and energy even greater.
