The Alain Caron Quartet performing live from Montreal, QC- Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme, Place des Arts (May 4, 2015) Hosted by Youth4Music's David Peretz-Larochelle, the musical extravaganza featured 16-year-old Connor Ross leading elementary and high school students across the nation in the sing-along of the new Music Monday anthem that he wrote, ‘We Are One / Nous Sommes Unis’. The event featured jazz courtesy of the Alain Caron Quartet, classical music from the McGill Chamber Orchestra and Maestro Boris Brott, and hip-hop from The Lifeboat Project from Gerald McShane Elementary, featuring the song “Dans le futur.“ Grammy Award-winning and two-time JUNO-nominated singer/songwriter Jennifer Gasoi led students from Harold Napper Elementary School with “Les Etoiles,“ and First Nation artists from N'We Jinan from Chisasibi, Quebec performed their song “I Believe“. It all kicked off with the rousing sounds of the St. Thomas More School drumline. V
