After all these years, I’ve lost count of how many pieces I’ve made but none have ever quite scratched the itch like a good ol’ fashioned coif. These mailled marvels have completely captured my heart and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing them come to life. Though I wouldn’t consider this a proper tutorial by any means, I hope it will at least give you a further understanding of the coif making process and motivate you to try it for yourself. If you’d like to start your chainmailling journey, my best advice is just that: start. There is no better way to learn than to hoist yourself into the craft regardless of your knowledge or skill level.
