A small video series dedicated to the Afro-Cuban rhythm of Bembe in metric size 6/8. This rhythm is one of the fundamental rhythms of West Africa, originally from Nigeria, was actively performed in Cuba and even in pop and jazz music you can find its performance. Rhythms in the size of 6/8 can be perceived as a rhythm in the size of 4/4, but the eighth notes are played as three notes. Two measures in the size of 6/8 are equal to one measure in the size of 4/4. The first video from the series shows a performance on one drum, the second on two drums and the third on three conga drums. At the end of the video, the Play Along part is added so that you can play this rhythm accompanied by the original percussion.
