A mother whose son was killed when his motorbike crashed with a combine harvester has spoken of her heartache as she urges young riders to take care on roads. Harry Abbey, 19, was travelling to work on 21 July 2021, when he was involved in a collision with a combine harvester in Chesire He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Now – just over two years on – Harry’s mother, Bev Abbey, is teaming up with Cheshire Police to encourage young riders to ride safely. Ms Abbey has given Harry’s bike to police to be used by the roads education team who will take the bike – which has been secured to a trailer – to schools and colleges across the county.
