Behind the scenes of The Sundowners (1960)

On World Home Movie Day, the NFSA has released a previously unseen home movie shot by Rhonda Grogan, a member of the production crew working on the film The Sundowners (Fred Zinnemann, 1960). Rhonda recorded home movies while learning roles on Walk Into Paradise (Lee Robinson, 1956), Dust in the Sun (Lee Robinson, 1958) and The Sundowners. Home movies capture candid moments of family life, holidays and special events. They can also record history as it happens and the unguarded moments of celebrities. See more in the NFSA collection.
