Mystic City Assassins Presents: Tragedy Khadafi | Black Gloves Black Mask ・Nomen X Edit This black cloud follows everywhere I be Have me scared up in the mirror at the man I see Flip constantly - cause my lady killed my seed Took his life - 'fore he even had a chance to breathe Said she killed him cause she didn't want him growin' like me... With a legacy spanning four decades, the super lyricist Tragedy Khadafi, has been an undeniable presence of Queensbridge lore. Always seemingly in the shadows, his influence can be easily recognized in the style of more mainstream Queensbridge artists. I first heard Tragedy Khadafi on the promotion only release -Thug Matrix 4118. Several of the tracks from this were used on the subsequent release -Against All Odds (2001). With classic beats produced by Ayatollah, G-money, DJ Clue, Spunk Bigga, Havoc, among others, combined by the dexterous wordplay of Trag, I could create videos for any track off this gem. Black Gloves Black Mask, is also known as “Lift Ya Glass“ on the Against All Odds Album. As with fellow Black Market Militia member Killah Priest, it's homicide on every track. In honor of this hard-hitting gem (Thug Matrix 4118), the Japan-based producer Nomen X, along with Mystic City Assassins, is proud to present the “Black Gloves Black Mask - Nomen X Edit.“ From the classic promo album Thug Matrix [2001] -Black Gloves Black Mask- Tragedy Khadafi-(Featuring Imam .)
