Dubbed “China’s last remaining primitive tribe,“ the Wengding village boasts traditional architecture built by the Wa ethnic group in SW China’s Yunnan. After suffering from a raging fire in 2021, the village was reconstructed with fire hydrants installed among the straw huts.
