Real Name: Samira Besic Profile: Eurodance singer. Samira Besic, daughter of Bosnian parents, was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. Her first performance was to sing the vocals on “Get-A-Way“ by Eurodance formation Maxx. For different reasons, and because it was a common thing to do in Eurodance at the time, she was replaced in the video by Eliz Yavuz, presented to the public under the fictive identity of Alice Montana. Samira then went solo. Her first official single, “When I Look Into Your Eyes“, was released in october 1994 and did well on the European club charts. Later singles, “Love Train“ and “The Rain“ in 1995, and “I Can't Get You“ in 1997, did not reached the same heights. In 1999, she took a step back from Eurodance and released “It Was Him“, a downtempo/hip-hop flavoured track. Samira Besic also appeared as a vocalist and composer on many other projects, such as Slam (5)'s single “We Get Around“, Bongo Beat's “Do What You Want“ and “Wanna Hear The Music“ by G.E. Con-X-Ion.
