The film was made for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Donbass from the Nazis. It contains the history of the region during the Great Patriotic War, from the first days until its complete liberation from the Nazis. The underground fighters from the Young Guard became an example of unshakable fortitude and will to Victory. Its participants fought the Nazis during World War II - in a fragment of the documentary film, ’Donbass: Echoes of War’ (2023) by Dmitry Khrustalev and Ekaterina Kitaytseva.
