Intertitle reads: “Things are not always what they seem“, said Prof. Hunter, as he produced a wineglass from nowhere in particular.“ M/S of a magician moving a handkerchief around for the camera. He lifts the handkerchief to reveal a glass. “Nowhere in particular as he explained it.“ Magician puts the glass in his inside jacket pocket. He then does the trick again - showing how he takes the glass from his inside pocket as he moves the handkerchief around. Second trick. “Can you balance a coin on it's edge on your hand?“ C/U of magician placing a coin on the tips of his fingers. The coin mysteriously moves backwards on his hand until it is lying flat. “So easy....!“ Magician shows how it is done. A pin is placed behind the coin which supports it as it is slowly allowed to move backwards. “A pack of cards can also be dealt with...“ C/U of pack of cards balanced on the magicians fist. He twists them around to show how they are balanced - one card is bent around and supports the others.
