Number stations were a practice of sending specially-coded messages over shortwave radio that only people who had the codebooks could crack, usually by one-time codes. This is a Russian station known as UVB-76, or “The Buzzer“ for its channel marker. The Russian names are the Russian equivalent to the phonetic alphabet and spell out the codeword “Naimina“ for the sake of clarity for the receiver.
