One of the most famous ancient folk songs originated in the Jiangsu Province. It was later introduced to the Western world and gained popularity there as early as 1800's with a translated title as “Beautiful Jasmine Flower“ or “Such a Beautiful Jasmine“. The song has since become so popular outside China that its Mandarin transliteration “Mo Li Hua“ has been widely accepted as official title. Several variants of the song are available. This rendition was performed by Xu Wen.
