Ade Vincent, A Drunken Fingerprint Across the Sky for guitar Performed by Sophie Marcheff

A Drunken Fingerprint Across the Sky was commissioned by the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music for the Guitar Perspectives Composition Award. This prize was established to encourage the composition of solo guitar works by emerging Australian composers. The piece was first performed by Sophie Marcheff at the MCM student showcase concert at Melba Hall on October 26, 2017. Ade Vincent’s program note for the piece reads: A Drunken Fingerprint Across the Sky depicts a ‘murmuration’: a flock of
