London Liverpool Street Station in November 1986 My visit to this location on 28th November 1986 around mid morning witnessed a very busy period with EMU classes 315 and 305 on many of the local services out of the terminus feeding such places as Clacton, Southend and other East London destinations. Class 47s hauled empty stock and several services in and out of the area as well as the Eastern Counties. Norwich services were now in the hands of class 86 locomotives. Keep an eye out for the “Stratford depot cockney sparrow“. This is a station that was fairly under observed I think in my opinion and deserved more attention. Again uncut and unedited with raw footage from my video archive enjoy this short look at this station.
