The Cross Block is another effective way to check or block body kicks. In this video I got over the cross block and how to effectively land counter strikes after successfully blocking a kick. Key points to remember: 1. Your lead leg (knee) will attach to your rear elbow. This will create a wall so the kick does not sneak through and still do damage. 2. Your should stand tall on your support leg. This will give you a strong base. NOT FLAT FOOTED! If you are flat footed, a powerful kick will send you flying
