A few weeks before graduating, his grandfather died and left all his photography equipment to him. He discovered his passion for photography on a post-college trip through Europe. He's self-taught, having learned photography through experimenting and independent study. He moved to Colorado with his girlfriend, in order to shoot photos of pro snowboarders and skiers. He licensed his first image for $500 and a pair of skis. He has photographed for Nike, Apple, Microsoft, Google, Samsung, and other huge brands. His photography sells from anywhere between $50 to $50,000. He's the youngest person to be named Hasselblad Master, Nikon Master, and ASMP Master.
