I instantly had an idea in mind: a statement, sky-high party platform sandal for the holiday season… with the perfect touch of sparkle!!! 💎 I am sooo happy with how these turned out and can’t wait to wear them to my next Christmas party! 🎄 Here’s a little run through of how I made the shoes… Step 1 - Firstly, I covered my insoles, platforms and heels with the gorgeous red velvet leather. Step 2 - I then cut, stitched and assembled the uppers out of the same leather - adding some sparkly features with our round crystal buckles and crystal embellishments. (Click here to buy: ) Step 3 - I then lasted the uppers and ankle straps to the insoles. Step 4 - After that, I glued the insoles to the platforms. Step 5 - Then, I added some black resin soling to the bottom of the shoes. Step 6 - Next, I drilled into the insoles and screwed in the chunky heels. Step 7 - Finally, I added some bright white leather insocks. And there we have it, a gorgeous pair of red velvet holiday platform heels!
