Combat work of 120-mm mortars crews According to intelligence data, the arrival of the command staff of one of the enemy units was expected at the positions of Ukrainian militants in the Kupyansk direction. Objective control data from a reconnaissance UAV confirmed the information - the movement of two vehicles with officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was detected. To hit the targets, the reconnaissance unit of the West group of forces used its own fire weapons. The crew of the roaming 120-mm mortar 2B11 quickly arrived at the firing position and, with the help of a spotter, destroyed the armored vehicles with the Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen in them. Upon completion of aimed shooting, the mortar crew quickly folded and changed position. Similar combat work in the Kupyansk direction is being carried out continuously. Small targets are constantly identified: mainly armoured pickup trucks and cars. The task is to keep the enemy in constant tension. 120-mm 2S12 Sani mortars are designed to destroy enemy personnel located openly or in shelters, fire weapons, command and observation posts, weapons and military equipment.
