Acer palmatum Seryiu (Japanese Maple)

A beautiful maple with rich green summer leaves, tinged with red/purple when they emerge in spring and turn shades of dark orange, plum purple, orange or red in the autumn before falling. A classic maple, ideal for a mixed border or for planting as a standalone shrub. The Acer palmatum ’Seryiu’ in this video is growing in our gardens in Derbyshire, UK and is approx 12 years old.
