The song “Chester“ was writed during the American Revolution (1776-1783) as a song for the Continental Army, especially for the Massachusetts Line and other New England's Regiments. Today the song is the most popular song as the anthem of the American Region of the New England (Massachusetts,Rhode Island,Connecticut,New Hampshire,Vermont and Maine). New England was founded in 1620 by the Pilgrims, a group of Christians who were running away from the Persecutions in England.
