Un poco allegretto 9:53 Composed in 1923 and revised by Prokofiev about 30 years later, this Sonata is somehow not very popular, compared to some of the other Sonatas. It is masterfully played here by the Russian pianist Anatoly Vedernikov (1920-1993, pupil of Heinrich Neuhaus, friend and duo partner of Sviatoslav Richter) Recorded in 1959.
