This is a tutorial on how to manually hollow out and make your 3D model have a shell. “Shelling“ before printing can greatly reduce the amount of material you need for a 3D print. It also can greatly reduce the amount of stress you put on the printer. In part 2, we will cover adding additional supports to the inside of the model with Zbrush Z-Spheres.
