Iraq’s Islamic resistance backed by Iran launched two separate attacks against Israeli targets in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights and northern Iraq. In a statement released on Dec 28, the resistance, a coalition of Iran-backed paramilitary groups backed by Iran, claimed responsibility for the attacks. It announced it conducted an operation against a “vital and key“ target in the south of the Israeli regime's “Eliad“ settlement in the occupied Golan.
