LEGEND has it that they were a group of musicians (not a band) who would only enter the studio when they were under the influence of whatever. Nothing was officially released from the session but somehow the original tapes were pirated and from them the original bootleg was produced. Since then many boots followed. I got my boot several years ago as a 12 inch single sided disc. It came with a black and white cover with an illustration in the centre of a guy smoking pot. The back was just plain white. The label just says Sunset Recording Studios Inc 5539 Sunset Boulevard Hollywood California,The Lyd Side 1. The astonishing thing is that the cover was impregnated with something that produced a very strong could be smelt through out my house. It took many months for that smell to recede. I am indebted to Thebestdream I had for publishing the titles of the songs but in particular the names of the musicians. Can any one shed any light on each artists? It now appears the the release has been legitimized.“
