Leo Brouwer, La Habana, Cuba. (01/03/1939) Silvio Rodríguez, San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. (29/11/1946) Estudio nº 5. 1959 – 2004 This work belongs to the first cycle of “Simple Studies“ which composed by Leo Brouwer. Later on singer-author Silvio Rodríguez created the lyrics for this etude. It is based on a typical rhythm of Cuban music called cinquillo.
