Farmers' Protest Continues | Centre's Proposal Rejected | 'Delhi Chalo' March To Resume On Feb 21

After rejecting the latest government's proposal of a five-year contract for the procurement of maize, cotton and pulses on Monday, farmer leaders from Punjab, who have been protesting since February 13, announced that they will resume their march to the national Capital on February 21. The Samyukt Kisan Morcha asserted that farmers nationwide stand united in rejecting anything below the MSP at the comprehensive cost for all crops, with guaranteed procurement.
