HTM 1999 Похвала (akathist)

A recording of the Laudation of the Theotokos during Great Lent of 1999 (Mar. 19) at Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. There is a brief word given by Vl. Lavr before the singing of the akathist about the plight of the Serbian people who were being bombed by NATO during that infamous spring. [Clinton, Albright war on Yugoslavia] I beg pardon for the lower quality of the recording in the 2nd half. I had a much harder time getting rid of tape noise on the 2nd side. There's additional high-pitch distortion that has creeped in on that side of the cassette.
