I AM DRACULA | Vampire Scale

I AM DRACULA this video you'll learn the Vampire Scale on guitar. Also known as the Hungarian Minor Scale. I call it the Vampire Scale because of the evil vampire vibes and haunting tones. Think of this scale as Harmonic Minor with a raised 4th degree. The notes are E-F#-G-A#-B-C-D#. Most guitar players stop after learning the scale shape.... but there's much more to scales if you want to write music. We'll also learn some chord progressions you can use and even Counterpoint phrases to generate musical ideas. Counterpoint is amazing for metal guitar players who'd like to make more interesting riffs. Instead of regular power chords in a typical Iron Maiden progression, try some contrary motion.
