Here I connect the kitara to the cakewalk z3ta 2 software synthesizer. Basically, the kitara becomes an extension to the synth, as a new way to control it. If you have cakewalk z3ta 2, you can download this particular sound preset from here: In this video the kitara is tuned to E3, A4, D5, G5, B5, E6 (notice bottom E is an extra octave lower). You also need to set the kitara’s MIDI controls as follows: 1. BALL_X = CC16 2. BALL_Y = CC17 3. TOUCH_X = CC18 And on the z3ta synth, set filter cutoff to CC16 and filter resonance to CC17 (you do this by right clicking on the control knobs).
