What??? NO GPS Guidance Seeding the End Rows??? Montana Farming 2022 In today's video, I am feeling more comfortable seeding on my own. I see the smoke from the controlled burn of the straw pile. It is not a field fire! We finish up one field and then Darcy and I move to the next field. We have to drive our John Deere tractors and tanks and seeders to start the new field. I raise the sides of the seeding drill so I can drive it down the road. The road is very narrow and I am a bit nervous, but I make it!!!! I pull into the new field and lower the sides of the seeding drill and then I spool it to be sure there are no broken hoses or shanks. There are a lot of rocks in this field. Dad gives me some great advice. I have to do the end passes on this field with NO GPS guidance because we are actually going to seed east and west. This is a lot more challenging than it looks. I can't imagine seeding in the old days without GPS guidance to help show me what I am doing&
