Pussycat was a Dutch pop group from Brunssum in Limburg led by the three Kowalczyk sisters: Toni, Betty and Marianne. Other members of the band were Lou Willé (Toni's then-husband), Theo Wetzels, Theo Coumans, and John Theunissen. The band had four international hits in a row in the mid-seventies: 'Mississippi' (1975), 'Georgia' (1976), 'Smile' (1976) and 'My broken souvenirs' (1977) and then a series of hit singles in the Netherlands and Belgium. Mississippi was number 1 the Netherlands and in another 15 countries. 'Mississippi' achieved 22 gold records. It is estimated that “Mississippi“ sold over five million copies worldwide. Most of Pussycat's songs were written by Werner Theunissen. 'Another Day' is a song from the album 'Wet day in September' from 1978. It was also written by Werner Theunissen. This third album by the group ended up at number 16 on the Dutch Album Top 100. The album was produced by Eddy Hilberts and the arrangements came from Paul Natte.
