* (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) * Florida, Florida — The Indian River County Sheriff’s officials released body camera footage showing his Deputies firing the shots that wounded a teen armed with a gun who had just fled from the back seat of a car following a traffic stop. In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 11, IRCSO responded to shots fired in Gifford on 38th Avenue. Deputies monitored the area and initiated a traffic stop at approximately 9 p.m. the same day. Deputies had identified the vehicle and occupants as suspects in the shots fired call, as well as burglaries throughout the community, including the theft of firearms. Jamall Frederick, a passenger in the vehicle, was told not to touch the gun that deputies saw through the window.
