Hurricane Ida brought over 4 inches of rain to the mountains of West Virginia and Maryland last week, kicking off creek season for us in a big way. The final tally for the MRM crew was 10 laps on 6 runs in 3 days, with multiple personal first descents by many of us. Featured creeks are Hemlock Run, Upper Muddy, Fikes, Teter and Laurel Creeks, and Top Yough at an optimal flow of 565cfs. Music by Tyler Childers, Sierra Ferrell, Masego, and NewTown.
