. Crystals have always seemed to me to be something more than just stones - probably, under the influence of childhood impressions of observing the growth of beautiful crystals that my older brother grew from aluminum alum. They behaved like living creatures, as if they knew how to grow - their formation was surprisingly reminiscent of the development of mushrooms or corals. Subsequently, I came across the statement of Nikola Tesla: “In the crystal we see a clear confirmation of the existence of the life-forming principle, and although, no matter what, we cannot understand the life of the crystal, it is still a living being.“
