Okay, here's the Flash version of Cy-Clone played using Flashpoint Infinity. Originally, Cy-Clone (Russian: Боевой клон) by Oddity Games trading under Lo-Jen Ltd. was the one of creative and successful MMF2-made games of 2008 that seems to be influenced by these games: - R-Type (art style) - Kirby series (pulling, cloning and expelling enemies) - Platypus (gameplay aspect and controls) To anyone who didn't know, Oddity Games was the same as Lo-Jen. Thomas Jenns was a founder and lead of Oddity Games trading under Lo-Jen Ltd. Here are the thoughts below I can throw about this version. Flash version of Cy-Clone is really mediocre at the best. Here are the major differences from the PC version: 1. Prototype orb's pulling hit detection is worse than on the PC version. 2. You can't expel a cyber clone just by pressing Space bar like you normally could in PC version. Instead, you are forced to use all the stockpiled energy first (energy is indicated with a blue bar above). 3. You can't just use a Secondary attack manually, like you normally could by pressing the Right Mouse Button on PC version. 4. There are just too many yellow-colored powerups that refill both your health and energy. If energy bar is full, the Secondary attack is automatically used. Those yellow-colored powerups actually resemble those red-colored health-refilling powerups from PC version of Cy-Clone, although they're much smaller in size. 5. Before using the Primary attack (Left Mouse Button by default), you are forced to use all the saved Secondary attacks first (that were stockpiled by collecting yellow-colored powerups). 6. You can't grab and throw the large plasma balls that are being fired either by an Alien Warlord (probably an adult form of that alien creature from Lo-Jen logo intro) or by those two Giant Snails with red eyes. 7. As a Squid clone, you can't reflect enemy bullets with your primary attack (hair-like lightsaber), like you could on PC version. Ok, so what is this, anyway? A some sort of mediocre Survival mode for Cy-Clone made with Flash, with the modified Act 2 music from the original PC version of Cy-Clone? If Thomas Jenns decides to remaster this game either on Unity or PopCap Games Framework engine, he'd better include the Survival mode based on the Flash version of Cy-Clone. Anyway, just go play the PC version of Cy-Clone made with Multimedia Fusion 2, it plays way smoother and better. You can today get these versions of Cy-Clone on PC: 1. Big Fish Games version - if you are looking for English version. You can just either crack it or download it for free on . 2. Alawar version - if you are looking for Russian version. You can now just download it for free on at this point, as Alawar is no longer distributing 98,5% of casual games as of June 1, 2023 (. Old Alawar, 1999-2023). I have no idea why Nevosoft refused to distribute Russian version of Cy-Clone. By the way, Flash version gets a 4/10, while PC version still gets a 9/10. #CyClone #БоевойКлон
