Female beauty is no stranger to the weird and wonderful, and throughout time there has been pressure on women to contort, squeeze and stretch their features into more ‘desirable’ shapes; even Meghan Markle has revealed she does facial exercises to protect her sculpted features. () These days, plastic products are being distributed cheaply all over the internet to anyone who thinks their features could do with a little lift. Inspired by Evija Laivina’s photo series of the same theme (), we asked a bunch of i-D friends to test out the most bizarre beauty products we were able to buy online for anything between £2 and £20.
