[PLEASE READ] Karla, a secretary from Houston, Texas, vies for a $1,000 prize before a panel of celebrity judges in an episode of “The Great American Strip-Off”—a short-lived and unique “curiosity piece” of American television entertainment with a veneer of Hollywood respectability. The prize-seeking performers, both male and female, were amateur strippers who entertained judges and audiences with their own choreographed and “tasteful“ routines.
