The private military company Wagner, led by Evgeny Prigozhin, launched an insurrection in Russia that began on Friday evening and lasted through Saturday. The armed contractors managed to seize an army headquarters in the southern city of Rostov-on-Don. However, they eventually aborted their advance towards Moscow after a deal was reached with the authorities, helped also by the Belarusian president. RT correspondent Roman Kosarev is in Rostov-on-Don, reporting on the situation in the city after the Wagner’s withdrawal. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Freedom over censorship, truth over narrative.
