Dance Film / 30 min / 2002 Saburo Teshigawara's dance piece Absolute Zero explores the condition of total stillness. The heart of the two-hour long stage production was adapted for the screen with the appropriate and consequent purism. Teshigawara and his partner Kei Miyata develop an almost unnoticeable inner speed and yet everything flows to the minimalist music of Gurdjieff and Thomas de Hartmann. Directed by Jan Schmidt-Garre Produced by PARS MEDIA Co-Produced by ARTE and BR Nominated for the Dance Screen Award in Monte Carlo
