Date: March 18th, 1969 Location: Supershow, Staines Tour: 1969 United Kingdom and Scandinavian Tour Number of performance: 64 This is Led Zeppelin's appereance in the Supershow. The Supershow was a music documentary directed by John Crome, that intended to be the first british super session, and included various musicians, such as Buddy Guy, Buddy Miles, Jack Bruce, Eric Clapton, and the Roland Kirk Quartet, to name a few. It was filmed during two days, and for some reason it is said (and quite a lot) that this recording occured on March 25th, but Led Zeppelin actually played on the 18th. The whole film premiered on November '69 with a limited screening. I could not find the full frame footage in decent quality, and since I still have to learn how to rip a DVD, I had to use this one (for now), which is missing just a little bit of frame in the top and bottom, the sides are fine. In the other hand, the audio is now better than no other. Fun fact: Jimi Hendrix was supposed to be in the film, but missed the plane. 00:00 Intro 00:02 Dazed and Confused Headphones recommended Here's a statement by Jimmy Page: “We performed Dazed and Confused with what seemed to be a pretty experienced production team, as the camera angles appeared interesting at the time. They also used some dry ice, which was quite vibey, and we were just part of a number of artists that were to appear on this show, some of whom had not yet recorded and were due to arrive at the building. There was definitely a timeslot for us to do another number, especially as the other artists hadn't arrived, and I suggested to the director that maybe it would be a good opportunity to do Communication Breakdown as a second number, but they declined the offer and said it wasn't necessary!“ Download link: #Hg-AJLZP0gkniaCIqjwG7gXwhPKuDiqfnFVLVWpBEOw
