I uploaded the Blu-Ray remastered version with the original soundtrack: From the Academy Award winning director, Francis Ford Coppola, is an adaptation of S.E. Hinton's novel “The Outsiders.“ Tensions had been building between the upper class Socs and the “wrong side of the tracks“ Greasers for some time. Some Socs got drunk and tried to drown Pony Boy, but one is fatally stabbed by Johnny. Fearing retribution, the two go into hiding. The Socs want some revenge for the death of their friend and the two groups agree to a rumble and no weapons allowed. This is one of my favorite films growing up. This film featured many rising stars who would go on to much fame in the film industry, most notably Tom Cruise, Rob Lowe, Ralph Macchio etc... The era of “the brat pack“ films had begun.
