DIY Lace Ribbon Candle Holder: I have wanted to make a lace candle holder for a while now, but couldn't decide what material to use. Originally I had planned to make one out of antique/vintage doilies, but then I realized that not everyone has access to doilies. So I decided to make one out of lace ribbons. These lace bowls were so popular about 10-12 years ago. I remember people making and using them for many purposes, including trinket bowls and fixtures! While this would make a super cute trinket bowl for a bedroom or entry table, I decided to use my lace bowl as a candle holder with a flameless candle in the center. I added artificial hydrangea to the center to give it a summertime aesthetic, but you could add faux fall leaves in the autumn or small evergreen stems in the winter. Do you prefer traditional seasonal decorations or staple decor that you can make minor changes to for each season?
