The highly anticipated Burt Reynolds Smokey and the Bandit Tribute Jump. Taken at the Chevrolet Nationals at Carlisle, Pennsylvania on June 22, 2019. This stunt was performed by Raymond Kohn of the Northeast Ohio Dukes. I would personally like to thank and dedicate this video to the whole crew of the Northeast Ohio Dukes for creating a forever-lasting memory and for a successful jump. I would also like to dedicate this video to the Bandit himself, Burt Reynolds and to all the cast and crew of Smokey and the Bandit. Please Note: The Trans Am used in the stunt was a rusted-out, unrestorable 1979 Trans Am that was dressed-up to look like a 77 Special Edition model. Every part and piece used on the car was unusable for restoration. What better way to honor the Bandit than to jump the car he made famous?
