What 250 Hours of VR Helicopters Looks Like, AH-1S Early War Thunder VR

I'm streaming on twitch now! Quite possibly the most fun helicopter in the game to use when it comes to rockets and guns. It also has one of the most balanced kits having no thermals, gunner lock on, AA missiles, or RWR at 9.3. At 9.3, it is the earliest helicopter with a mid range gun capable of killing light vehicles at over 1km away with precision, and even main battle tanks about 1km from the roof. All Missile SPAA are at 9.7 which means if you get a 9.3 match, you can safely climb above the battlefield to rain hot lead on the enemy. At 9.7 and 10.0, you can also climb above the battlefield if you are against the appropriate factions that lack Missile SPAA at those BRs. Unlike the Mi-24s, the Cobra is smaller, more agile, and has about 2/3 the rotor size which makes urban combat and tight maneuvers much safer. While the AH-1S is slower, speed is not something that will help you unless you are trying to run away or get to a fight quickly. If you like Cobras, and especially if you like the AH-1Z and AH-1F/S, then do not pass this whirly bird up. This helicopter is perfect for those who have the skill to wield it to its full potential.
