This guitar is a part of Luthier Leonardo Michelin Salomons fellowship project on 19th century guitarbuilding. Special thanks to Pål Weidemann and Søndre Slagen Menighet for letting me use this beautiful church. The original of this guitar is an unlabeled guitar located at Ringve instrument museum, Trondheim, Norway. The Guitar is an early 19th century model from the famous Mirecourt French school of guitarmaking. The guitar has flush fingerboard, the upper frets are in wood and the headstock and body shape reminds of baroque curves. The reproduction that Leonardo Michelin Salomon has built is, as always, beautiful instrument making at its best.
