Taylor Swift had to improvise during her Eras Tour concert on Sunday night when her piano started playing by itself due to water damage. The pop star explained to the crowd that the instrument was affected by a “monsoon”-like rainstorm that soaked the stage the night before. Swift was performing her third show at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, as part of her Eras Tour, which features songs from all of her nine albums. She was about to play a surprise song on the piano when the instrument began making random noises. “Did you hear that? Do you hear the piano?” Swift asked the audience in a video captured by a fan. “I didn’t play that. OK, I’m just gonna do another song on guitar. That’s insane.” Swift then revealed that the piano was probably broken by the heavy rain that fell during her second show at the same venue on Saturday night. She said that it rained for three and a half hours straight and that it was like a water park under the stage. #stardomspotlight
